Anything is Possible through the Lens of a Camera

I woke up at 8 AM on Easter morning so that I would have time to get ready for my training at Old Navy. I was excited and a little nervous, but from my interviews I knew that they were as excited about me joining their sales team, as I was to have a job. Sadly, when I arrived at the store for the 9 AM training session, I was informed that I was the only one who had agreed to show up for training that day. Therefore they weren’t going to have it, and they were sorry that no one called and informed me that the “Festivities” of the day had been cancelled.

Being slightly upset, as anyone would be after only getting 4 hours of sleep, I had to figure out what I was going to do with the rest of this beautiful Easter Sunday. My first thought was to head back to my apartment and crawl back into my bed, but that was only my lazy side trying to get the best of me! I decided I would go back to my apartment and get my camera (Canon PowerShot ) and iPhone and have a photo taking adventure! (The iPhone is important because

of this new application I bought for it called Hipstamatic. It was introduced to me by Mandy, and I have fallen completely in love with it. The iPhone is a broken one given to me by my friend Tiffany.)

After my camera battery was charged and I had my Hard Rock bag packed with things I might need that day, I headed toward the USC campus. I love walking around the University campus and taking photos as well as watching the people you may cross paths with. It being Easter Sunday there were very few people walking around campus. I feel like I had a rather productive artistic time wondering around campus that day. I took a few great photos and good many that will be fun editing.

Before I got to campus, however, I stopped by the McDonalds on Gervais and Huger and got something for breakfast. While I was eating I took a few practice photos with my new iPhone Application. It was very interesting and I knew it would be very useful in the day’s excursion.

After taking a multitude of photos around the University campus I decided I would travel to the Vista and have a good look around. This ended up being more fun than I expected. I learned where many restaurants and bars were located that I had only heard about in radio commercials. I walked around Lady Street and took a few more photos with the iPhone then decided that I needed something to quench my ever-growing thirst. So where better to go than to Starbucks!
