After a nice meal full of random conversation and laughs, I decided I had to hit the road. At this point it was almost 10 PM; it would be after 12 AM when I got home. The drive was pretty uneventful, except for the many deer standing remarkably close to the road. When I got home my mom was still awake waiting on me. We talked for a while and I played with my puppy Chloe because she missed me so much. The next day I decided I had better call Old Navy and find out when our Orientation was supposed to be. I was told that it was going to be on Easter Sunday (April 4th, 2010) at 9AM. I’m not that upset about it because I’m excited about the job. It just sucks because I have to cut the visit with my parents short. So Saturday I help my mother cook Easter Lunch so I could enjoy some family time.
After an amazing Easter dinner, (consisting of baked ham, macaroni and cheese, corn, potato salad and deviled eggs) I leave to head back to Columbia. I get back around 10:45 PM and meet up with Ben, Sara, Meghan and Rachel at their friends apartment where they had been having a small party. When I arrive we all decide that we are going to go out to a bar in Five Points called Group Therapy. On Saturdays they have live DJ’s and it’s a pretty fun place to go if you are in the mood to dance. All in all it was a nice weekend. Nothing much happened until I got back and we went out to the bar. It was a good time, everyone had fun.
